The Thomas Fund in Burke, VA, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, endeavors to improve the quality of life of seniors and visually impaired persons in Sierra Leone who lack independent financial means or family networks of support. The fund was established by Dr. and Mrs. Robert Thomas, Sierra Leoneans, who have lived in the United States for more than 40 years. Our foundation aims to help individuals residing at King George VI Home for the Aged and the blind people under the aegis of the Sierra Leone Association of the Blind (SLAB).
